Hey, my name’s Matt Perez and I’m a Freshman Journalism major at Rowan University. I commute to school which is about 2 blocks away as I was born and raised in lovely Glassboro, New Jersey. I’m an avid gamer, a movie buff, a television junkie, a guitarist for a pop-punk/ska band, a tech over at Ed Hall, and a huge fan of the Philadelphia Flyers (go ahead, boo me!).
I started reading the video game magazine Electronic Gaming Monthly when I was about ten and it made me wanna become a video game journalist so this is where I’ll attempt to begin my career. I’m very passionate about gaming and when I was prompted to come up with a beat for my Online Journalism class, my mind instantly went to video games.
